Our Mission
At JOURNEY we work to empower middle and high schoolers to seek and find their identity in Jesus Christ, alone.
Shayne & Sonya | Student Ministry Leaders
Our goal is to instill a robust love for Jesus in our students. We pray that they will be Spirit-filled followers of Christ the rest of their lives. We engage them in dynamic worship, prayer, Bible study, and practical to life teaching.

We know youth need a place they’re able to come, have fun, and dive deeper into knowing who Jesus is and why he’s forgiven them- a place they’ll recognize their worth, and be encouraged to take action. We want to see the younger generation with an unquenchable thirst for the gospel, willing to lay down everything to be followers of Christ. |

FAQs
WHEN DO YOU MEET & WHERE?
Every Sunday (9:00am) & Wednesday (6:00pm) we have games and Bible Study. We always meet in our Youth Building – the last building behind the church!
DO YOU DO ANY FUN ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE OF YOUTH GROUP?
Every month we try to have at least one outing whether it be as simple as ice cream or going somewhere like a baseball game, bowling, or christian concerts! During the summer/fall we like to utilize where we live and spend some days hiking or tubing. We also go to camp each summer!
DO YOU GUYS SERVE ANYWHERE OR PARTICIPATE IN MISSIONS?
We make sure our youth know the value and importance of both local and foreign missions. While we don’t currently (but would love to eventually) take our group anywhere foreign we do spend time doing local missions. We serve at the community kitchen, nursing homes, clothing drive, and any other outreach project we can. We also sponsor a front line worker with Voice of the Martyrs and commit him to fervent prayer.
WHAT ABOUT CAMP OR RETREATS?
Every summer we attend camp & will begin to plan that towards the beginning of the year/spring time. Most often our camp does involve mission work as a main goal for Journey – no matter age – is having a hand in missions. We also love doing winter retreats, even if they’re just one night. Camp and Retreats are key to building friendship & unity within our groups as well as vital to the growth of our students.
